Subscription scam

You cannot pause the subscription, but they usually get a reminder email a few days before to decide whether you want to to order or skip the month. However, TWICE I did not receive the reminder email and automatically got charged and mailed wine I did not want. Customer service did not take any responsibility. Shame on me for making the mistake to stick with winc after the first "email glitch." At this point, it's either a conscious SCAM, or one of opportunistic negligence. Either way, there's plenty of other places to get your wine!

Awful customer service!!

Awful customer service!!! It is impossible to cancel this subscription service after you start it. I can’t even delete my card info. Avoid this at all cost.

False advertising

False advertising
I signed up for natural wines, as they advertised. I could not find information on the wines being sent on portal website, ordered anyway, yet was not sent natural wines.
They are out of stock with no date of refilling stock.
2 stars for fast delivery

Good Customer Service & Good Wine

I joined winc wine club to give mail order wine a try - way back in February when the virus spread was still new information. My first box of wine was AWESOME! I was looking forward to more orders when I was exposed to someone with the virus. I decided to cut costs, and this subscription was one of the targets. I went to the faq page and searched for "cancel". Then I called customer service. They obviously have a script to read, for customer retention tactics. But once they heard me say, No, please cancel my subscription now. It was done.
I will rejoin at some point, it is fun to try new wines.

They make it impossible to cancel…

They make it impossible to cancel online. Ids a false cancel screen that takes you to a blank page.

Shady company

I ordered from winc ONCE in Sep, 2018 and never ordered again. Today, on May 16th 2020, I found a paypal charge of $61 to winc for wine that I never ordered. I go to winc I try to ponder what my password could even be and investigate and find that they’ve decided to start billing me monthly for a curated box when I never would have subscribed to that kind of thing. I check my email and not a single notification of my nw order or impending charge of 61 DOLLARS! Extremely shady automated system that is designed to scam you out of money at 4 am and not even alert you.
